Key Responsibilities / Duties

• Develop designs for resources and industrial projects
• High Voltage and Low Voltage protection systems design
• High Voltage Interface design
• Motor Control Centre cell design
• Control System design
• General Arrangements, HV, LV, MCC, PLC, Transformers design
• Termination Drawing Design
• Cable Sizing, Cable Schedules
• Carry out system modelling and performance analysis with industry software
• Prepare and review specifications for tenders and proposals
• Support commissioning and quality inspections on site as required
• Collaborate with external design partners and internal delivery teams to get projects built
• Technical document development
• Risk assessment, asset management, project management, and performance monitoring.

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant experience with Diploma
• Attention to detail in document and Drawing Quality is a highly regarded.
• A minimum of 6 years' experience in industrial / resources or a similar industry.
• Strong teamwork, adaptability, and professional integrity.
• You will be self-motivated, able to work across teams, and committed to managing your responsibilities with initiative and professionalism.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to influence outcomes and resolve technical problems through collaboration and innovation.
• Highly organised, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of Australian regulations, industry standards, and statutory engineering requirements.

• Hazardous area
• Functional Safety
• Control Systems
• Commissioning Experience
• Trade Background
• A Chartered Engineer qualification
• Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ)
