We are looking for a motivated and adaptable Electrical Engineer with a strong technical background in the design and estimation of low-voltage (LV) panel boards for the industrial and mining sectors. Key Responsibilities:

- Design and estimate control stations, low voltage electrical panel boards, and communication cabinets.
- Design and estimate customized solutions, including innovative enclosure designs, and control panels equipped with PLCs, I/O modules, and communication equipment.
- Design and estimate motor control centers, including motor starters, VSDs, and soft starter solutions.
- Design and estimate of off-grid solar systems.
- Perform design verification of panels in compliance with AS 61439 standards.
- Conduct thermal rise calculations, fault analysis, discrimination studies, cascading and other detailed technical evaluations.
- Designing single line diagrams (SLDs), control diagrams, general arrangements, and multi-line diagrams.
- Collaborate with a wide range of reputed products, including reputed breakers brands and models.
- Research and source components in the Australian market. Utilize manufacturer tools for product selection and design analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of detailed shop drawings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support both sales and manufacturing processes.
- Liaise with clients to provide technical explanations and resolve queries.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in LV panel board design and estimation, including work related to mining and industrial products.
- Solid understanding of AS 61439 & AS 3000 electrical standards and mining standards, particularly for applications in the Australian market.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, cubic and X Energy other relevant electrical software tools.
- Prior experience with a thermal rise calculation software will be considered an added advantage.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office software.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Hands-on experience in QC, ITR & ITP will be beneficial.
