API Developer – Logistics & Enterprise Systems

Location: South Yarra, VIC

Salary: $160,000 – $185,000 + Super

Hill McGlynn Recruitment is representing one of Australia's leading logistics and retail operators in their search for an experienced API Developer. Based in South Yarra, you'll be joining a business undergoing major transformation, where technology and integration sit at the centre of national growth.

The Opportunity

This is a high-impact development role where you'll design and deliver enterprise-grade APIs that connect critical systems across logistics and retail networks. Your work will directly improve performance, streamline operations, and create scalable solutions for some of the most complex integration challenges in the industry.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining API interfaces
  • Delivering scalable solutions using AWS and .NET technologies
  • Creating interfaces to support multiple system integrations
  • Collaborating with internal development teams and enterprise clients
  • Driving technical innovation to improve system connectivity and performance

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 5 years' API development experience
  • Strong track record working with AWS and .NET technologies
  • Experience delivering solutions for mid-sized or enterprise clients
  • Background in logistics, supply chain, or ERP integrations highly regarded
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to design scalable, secure solutions
