The Role

We are currently seeking a dedicated Psychosocial Recovery Coach to assist participants with daily living, mental health recovery, and community inclusion. The role involves supporting individuals with higher communication, cognitive, or social support needs in developing independence, life skills, and confidence. This is an ongoing position with flexible hours, designed to meet the needs of both the participant and the worker.

About the Role

You will support participants to live more independently and confidently by:

  • Providing one-on-one personal and community-based support
  • Assisting with daily living tasks such as organising and basic meal preparation
  • Supporting participants to develop routines, coping strategies, and life skills
  • Facilitating social and community engagement
  • Promoting independence, inclusion, and emotional well-being
  • Maintaining regular communication with the Beyond Health Services team

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Caring, respectful, and proactive in their approach
  • Experienced in or comfortable supporting individuals with mental health or psychosocial needs
  • Reliable and able to set clear professional boundaries
  • Enthusiastic about encouraging community participation and personal growth
  • Able to communicate clearly and work independently and collaboratively
  • Holds a Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work, Certificate IV in Mental Health, or equivalent training; and/or a minimum of two years' experience in mental health-related work
  • Previous experience in disability, community, or mental health support is highly regarded

NDIS Compliance Requirements

Applicants must have or be willing to obtain the following:

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Current First Aid and CPR
  • ABN (for contractors)
  • Police Check
  • Working with Children Check
