Grace Recovery Hub is seeking experienced and resilient Disability Support Workers to support a female participant with complex care needs in Epping and surrounding areas, VIC.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives under pressure, stays calm in challenging situations, and is passionate about empowering individuals with significant mental health and behavioural support needs.

About the Role

As a Disability Support Worker at Grace Recovery Hub, you will provide direct, hands-on support to a participant with complex psychosocial and behavioural needs. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing emotional regulation and behavioural support
  • Assisting with daily living activities and community participation
  • Implementing ongoing risk management, including support around suicidality and self-harm behaviours
  • Liaising with emergency services, which may be required regularly
  • Maintaining accurate progress notes and incident documentation

This role requires strong emotional intelligence, professionalism, and situational awareness. You will be part of a supportive and experienced team focused on safety, consistency, and recovery-oriented care.

What We're Looking For

  • Male support workers (participant preference), however female applicants will also be considered
  • Experience supporting participants with complex mental health or behavioural needs
  • Proven ability to manage crises and de-escalate behaviours
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, First Aid/CPR certification, and Driver's Licence
  • Qualifications in Mental Health, Disability, or Community Services (highly regarded)
  • Availability for flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays
