IQ Group is looking for Risk and Compliance Consultants for a Casual 3-6 month contracts. The role will be based in either Sydney or Melbourne.

Job Responsibilities.

  • Facilitate and support risk management and compliance activities across the business.
  • Provide guidance to ensure compliance outcomes are achieved and regulatory expectations are met.
  • Conduct compliance assessments and monitoring activities.
  • Perform breach assessments, including live production incident reviews and escalation where required.
  • Identify, assess, and escalate compliance issues to management as necessary.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with Business Analysts, Business Owners, Insurance SMEs, and Technology teams.
  • Work closely with senior business stakeholders to promote a proactive risk and compliance culture.

  • Demonstrated experience maintaining a
    comprehensive compliance framework
    , plan, and program to address legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong understanding of
    risk management principles
    and regulatory obligations in financial services (ideally superannuation or insurance).
  • Proven ability to
    interpret and apply legislation and regulatory guidance
    to business operations.
  • Excellent
    communication and stakeholder engagement
    skills to influence and support compliance outcomes.
  • Strong
    analytical and problem-solving
    capabilities with attention to detail.
  • Ability to
    work autonomously
    while collaborating effectively across teams.
  • High standards of
    integrity, judgement, and accountability
    in managing compliance and risk matters.
