The Opportunity
Due to continued growth, they are seeking a driven and experienced Wholesale Manager (Business Development Manager) with a proven background in the Industrial Electrical Wholesale / Contractor sector. This role will focus on strengthening existing customer partnerships while driving new business opportunities across Queensland.
Reporting to the Queensland State Manager, you will play a key role in exceeding sales targets, with a particular emphasis on the Electrical Wholesale channel. This is a highly autonomous role that will involve regular travel throughout Queensland, with occasional interstate requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and represent the Company's premium industrial products, solutions, and technologies.
- Manage, service, and grow existing customer accounts.
- Develop new business opportunities through a targeted and strategic approach.
- Build and maintain relationships with key wholesale branches, contractors, OEMs, end users, and mining customers.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Supplier Representatives to deliver joint presentations, seminars, and training
- Gather market insights to support strategic account planning.
- Develop and execute effective sales plans on target for the region
