Farmers Choice Meats is a wholesale meat distribution and processing company, specialising in pork and beef. Our company is currently seeking loadout staff on night shift with work commencing at 5pm daily Sunday through to Thursday. Responsibilities will include knife hand for appropriate person, picking and packing of both carcass and carton products, loading of cold trucks and stock management.

Roles are available for an immediate start with full training provided. Applicants must be physically fit, be willing to work in a cold environment and be flexible with hours. Forklift and MR licences are advantageous but not essential.

Successful candidates will be hired as casual employees with reliable daily work expected Sunday to Thursday from 5pm to finish of work every shift. We offer a competitive hourly rate with penalties/loadings in addition.

Night Labourer duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Knife hand skills
  • Unloading deliveries
  • Moving hanging stock
  • Stacking and packing pallets
  • Picking and Packing
  • Preparing orders to be shipped
  • Stock rotation

What we're looking for:

  • Must show up to work consistently otherwise will be stood down
  • Must be able to work in the cold storage facility
  • Must be reliable with a strong work ethic and a positive 'can-do' attitude
  • Able to work in a team environment and autonomously when needed
  • Self-starter who enjoys achieving set goals and creating new ones
  • Ability to adapt and reposition within a dynamic work environment
  • Strong attention to detail is a must

These will be casual roles with progression to permanent for the right person.

Location: Starting at Churchill, but will be moving to Carole Park
