We are currently seeking a Wholesale Vehicle Buyer to join our team in Brisbane, Queensland.

The Applicant must have a proven track record in purchasing vehicles from a variety of sources. This position requires a self-motivated individual with automotive experience.

This position is ideally suited for an eager and positive person who wishes to establish a professional career within an established and high volume Auction.

Duties will include:

  • Liaising with purchasing agents and customers on wholesale matters.
  • Purchasing vehicles from a variety of sources, carrying out appraisals/ valuations.

· Maintaining a sound knowledge of trade and retail vehicle prices.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following:

  • Self-Motivated with the ability to work autonomously.
  • Previous experience working in the automotive industry
  • Experience in vehicle sales, automotive wholesale, vehicle auctions, or car dealership operations
  • Mechanical knowledge/background is ideal
  • Working knowledge of the wholesale vehicle market
  • Ability to negotiate with Private Buyers
  • Maintain relationships with trade buyers for disposal of unwanted stock
  • Good time Management Skills
