The Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW) is seeking a skilled and motivated IT Vendor Performance and Financial Management Specialist to oversee vendor relationships, drive service excellence, and ensure financial accountability across our IT operations.
What You'll Do
- Lead the financial management of IT vendor engagements, ensuring accurate forecasting, cost tracking, and value for money.
- Manage the full lifecycle of vendor contracts—from selection and negotiation to renewal or transition.
- Monitor vendor performance against KPIs and contract terms to drive continuous improvement.
- Provide expert advice on vendor governance, procurement, and risk management.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external providers to align services with evolving business needs.
About You
You're a detail-oriented professional with deep expertise in procurement and contract management, backed by experience in financial analysis, cost control, and reporting. You bring a collaborative approach, influencing stakeholders and vendors effectively, and are committed to delivering high-quality, cost-efficient IT services.
