**As part of an exciting uplift to our Procurement and Vendor Management division, we are looking for 2 Vendor Governance Specialists to join our high-performing team**

In this role, you’ll play a critical role in supporting Service Owners with the establishment and management of vendor contracts to deliver outcomes that effectively meet Cuscal’s requirements to ensure vendors comply with their contractual obligations and risks are managed effectively.

From having the responsibility for the governance of material, strategic and operational vendors, your work will make a tangible difference to the businesses and customers that the Australian financial sector serves.

You’ll also make an impact by:

- Lead and participate in and provide reporting to relevant vendor governance forums to support with decision making requirements.
- Support Service Owners with Vendor Governance activities to assist in optimising relationships and managing risk.
- Provide vendor governance insights and reporting to support transparency and monitoring of vendor performance against service levels and key measures ensuring vendors meet their contractual obligations.
- Effectively manage vendor escalations, operational contract enquiries, issues, disputes, variations, risks and undertake negotiations with vendors, as required.
- Facilitate the due diligence requirements for material contract renewals and ensure relevant artefacts are stored centrally.
- Provide informed advice in relation to contract interpretation, management, service level and quality assessment, benchmarking and dispute resolution.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of agreed savings targets.
- Develop and maintain positive and mutually beneficial relationships with vendors to enhance the business relationship.
- Stay informed on industry trends and developments and contribute to the continuous improvement of vendor management processes.

To succeed in this role, you’ll have:

- 2+ years in a similar role
- Experience in Procurement, Contract Management, Vendor Management, and Governance Processes
- Experienced stakeholder relationship management
- Strong communicator across all levels within the Organisation
- Proficient negotiation and influencing skills
- Competent facilitator with strong planning and organisational skills
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and ability to manage multiple initiatives / issues / escalations
