IT Contract and Vendor Manager

Rabobank’s Vendor Management Team is growing with two newly created openings as IT Contract and Vendor Manager. You will join a supportive hybrid team based in Sydney.

The overall the objective of the IT Contracts and Vendor Manager is the delivery of procurement solutions that maximise value, manage risk, improve efficiencies and ensure quality for Rabobank. This role is responsible for administering IT related contracts for services and products across Rabobank Australia and New Zealand, and works closely with the Supplier Relationship Managers, and across the various activities in the procurement lifecycle.

Your excellent communication skills will be utilised, as you will regularly liaise with business stakeholders and support functions, to obtain endorsement and approval on all sourcing strategies that have a substantial commercial, legal and/or business impact.

**Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities**:

- Work closely with internal stakeholders when originating new agreements or assisting with variations to current contracts
- Lead or support reviewing and analysing category, supplier and spend data as well as performing market analysis to ensure sourcing strategies and outcomes support business and financial objectives
- Supplier life cycle management, including planning, sourcing, contract negotiation and ongoing contracting monitoring
- Strategic sourcing - setting sourcing strategies
- Identify and execute spend reduction initiatives with business owners
- Tactical sourcing - leading sourcing projects
- Working with Rabobank Head Office in the Netherlands on Global contracts and synergies amongst all regions
- Report on performance, industry analysis and cost saving initiatives etc.

**Experience, Skills and Attributes**:

- Proven experience in IT contract management and/or IT procurement related experience with one or more spend categories in a contract management and / or vendor management role
- Demonstrable experience overseeing all aspects of the IT contract management lifecycle including, but not limited to 'Go to Market' activities, proposal evaluation, commercial analysis, drafting and negotiation of contracts/agreements including variations
- Running end of end Request for Proposal (RFPs) processes
- Understanding of how to manage suppliers in accordance with regulatory third
- and fourth-party risk management requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Financial acumen and ability to negotiate
- Ability to interpret and analyse a wide range information, enabling informed decision making
- Excellent planning and organising skills
- Stakeholder management and relationship building capabilities, and the ability to tailor your communication approach across management levels and depending on the audience
