About Greenfreight

Greenfreight is a proudly family-owned and operated business delivering reliable, end-to-end transport and logistics solutions to a broad range of industries across Australia. Since 1975, we've grown into one of regional Australia's leading forestry and linehaul carriers, backed by a dedicated team of over 200 employees.

Drive Financial Excellence in Transport – Join Us as Financial Controller

Ready to steer the financial direction of a fast-paced, high-performing trucking business? We're on the lookout for a strategic and hands-on Financial Controller to lead our finance team and deliver the insights that keep our wheels turning and our business growing.

In this critical leadership role, you'll be responsible for end-to-end financial management — from compliance and reporting to budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow oversight — ensuring accurate, timely financial information drives operational decisions across the business.

You'll lead a small, efficient accounts team and work closely with operations, linehaul, and workshop managers to deliver financial strategies that support performance on the road and in the depot. Your ability to analyse trends, manage risks, and guide commercial decisions will help strengthen our financial health and fuel sustainable growth.

This is your chance to bring your financial expertise into the engine room of a logistics operation that values precision, reliability, and results. If you're ready to roll up your sleeves and make a real impact in the transport industry — we want to hear from you.
