**The opportunity**
We are seeking a

The role will encompass the following duties:

- Deep understanding of commercial debt and risk management
- Business-critical decision-making around credit limits and stop/release supply
- Weekly review of follow up by other credit control officers across the group
- Liaising with debtor insurance brokers
- Credit checks
- Adherence to Debtor Policies and ensuring that the credit team comply with policy
- Activating new clients and performing credit checks on prospective clients
- Cash receipting and allocations as required
- Daily collection calls
- Weekly and Monthly Client reporting
- Developing and maintaining relationships with customers and key stakeholders within the Group
- Review current reconciliation and collection processes for improvement opportunities with view to implement to drive continuous operational excellence
- Integration of newly acquired entities into the groups collection process quickly
- Reducing group overdue levels
- Additional ad hoc duties as required

**What you will need**
To be successful in this role you will have a drive to deliver and be a highly organised individual.

Ideally you will have:

- 5+ years experience in credit control
- Microsoft Dynamics Navision 2009 and Excel skills
- Outstanding communication skills and a passion for problem solving
- Strong time management skills and demonstrated history of meeting deadlines
- A positive attitude, self-starter and someone who enjoys working in a supportive team environment
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise whilst building positive internal and external relationships
