The role

  • Prepare financial statements, BAS, income tax returns, and compliance documents for individuals, companies, trusts.  SMSF experience is desirable but not necessary.
  • Review work prepared by offshore accountants, providing feedback and ensuring high standards are maintained.
  • Engage directly with clients, building relationships and providing tailored accounting, tax, and business advisory solutions.
  • Provide guidance to clients and assist with their tax questions.
  • Collaborate with the team to streamline processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

About You

  • Minimum 3+ years' experience in public practice accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian taxation and compliance requirements.
  • Previous experience reviewing the work of junior or offshore accountants is highly regarded.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage confidently with clients.
  • Proactive problem solver who is solution and results-driven.
  • Interest or experience in cryptocurrency taxation and digital assets is highly desirable but not a requirement.
