As our Purchasing Officer, you'll be responsible for ensuring that materials and supplies are ordered on time and at the best possible prices. With your background in cabinet making and practical knowledge of industry needs, you'll help keep our production team well-equipped and efficient.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage purchasing and inventory using MYOB
  • Source and order materials, hardware, and supplies for ongoing and upcoming projects
  • Liaise with suppliers and sales representatives to negotiate prices and timelines
  • Track and manage stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking
  • Picking orders, receiving stock and organising the storerooms
  • Support the workshop team with product information and availability

About You:

  • Proficient in MYOB for ordering and inventory management
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Confident dealing with suppliers and building long-term relationships
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a close-knit team
  • Previous experience in cabinet making is highly regarded
