The Role

You'll manage the day to day operations of two practices - Dental on Beams Carseldine and The Dental Standard Taringa. Your focus will be on shaping and encouraging a young team of support staff to grow into confident, capable operators while keeping the practices running smoothly. Between the two practices you will have direct oversight of approximately 15 support staff.

You will work between both locations to provide face-to-face support for each team. You'll guide, coach, and strengthen productivity as well as manage operations, daily issues around rostering, stock, basic software reboots, repairs, patient care optimisation, and people matters that need a steady hand.

In early 2026 we have an exciting Carseldine practice relocation (a few doors up) planned and you will play an integral part in the coordination of this project.

You won't be doing this alone. You will report to two Group Managers and have the support of a HR Coordinator (based in the Lockyer Valley) will back you, as part of a strong operational framework.

You'll also have access to an Industrial Relations Hotline, an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), and external consultants when needed – because investing in our people is what keeps our practices advancing.

Salary is negotiable, commensurate with practice management experience.

About You

You've likely managed a busy clinic or health practice before - dental, physiotherapy, radiology, dermatology or another health setting. You understand how practices operate and how to balance staff care, patient care, and achieve optimal productivity. You will need a drivers licence and own vehicle to travel between the sites as your hands on management will influence people and performance.

The core of this role is people leadership: coaching, developing, and managing a young team of dental support staff, so comprehensive experience and confidence in this area is important. Dental experience is an advantage, but not essential – you can learn it here. What matters most is your ability to guide early-career colleagues, build their confidence and capability, and oversee the smooth running of both practices.
