The Opportunity

SyncUp is working with a well-respected commercial builder in Perth with a proven track record of delivering high-quality projects across health, education, retail, and mixed-use sectors. They are now seeking a talented Estimator to join their team and contribute to securing and delivering major projects across WA.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, tender submissions, and BOQs for commercial projects
  • Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents to identify cost risks and opportunities
  • Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to source accurate pricing
  • Assist in bid strategies, feasibility studies, and value engineering
  • Work closely with senior management to ensure projects are commercially viable and competitive

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as an Estimator in commercial construction
  • Strong knowledge of WA market rates, subcontractor networks, and procurement processes
  • Ability to read and interpret complex plans, drawings, and specifications
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in estimating software and MS Office (CostX highly regarded)
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or similar
