About Us

We have continued to build strong relationships within the property development, design and building sectors; with customers, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors. In many cases, these relationships have extended for over 10 years and are still going strong. With a reputation for excellence and innovation, we are seeking a Senior Estimator to join our team and play a pivotal role in driving our success. The role would involve working closely with our pre-contracts and construction management teams.

Your Role

As a Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a variety of construction projects. Your expertise will guide decision-making and ensure the financial success of our projects. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with a passion for construction and a knack for numbers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse project plans, specifications, and requirements to prepare detailed cost estimates.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and consultants to ensure accurate scoping and budgeting.
  • Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
  • Prepare tender submissions and present cost breakdowns to stakeholders.
  • Monitor market trends, material costs, and labor rates to maintain up-to-date pricing.
  • Mentor and support junior estimators, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

About You

  • Proven experience as a Senior Estimator in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • A degree or diploma in construction management, quantity surveying, or a related field is preferred.
