About the Role:

We're looking for an experienced Contracts Administrator to support our growing pipeline of Sydney-based infrastructure projects. In this role, you'll take ownership of contract performance, manage commercial risk, and partner closely with project teams to drive successful outcomes.

This is a permanent, full-time position working directly for Genus, offering high visibility, ongoing career development, and exposure to landmark energy infrastructure builds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer head contracts and subcontracts across multiple project phases
  • Lead tender reviews, contract negotiations, and variation claims
  • Oversee payment schedules, progress claims, and subcontractor performance
  • Drive compliance with AS4000 standards and relevant WHS legislation (we can teach you)
  • Support project reporting, cost tracking, and commercial forecasting
  • Collaborate with engineers, planners, and site leaders on commercial delivery

Skills & Experience:

  • 3-5 years' experience in contracts administration in infrastructure or construction
  • Strong working knowledge of contracts and subcontractor management
  • Proven ability to manage risk, ensure compliance, and lead commercial conversations
  • Confident communicator with strong attention to detail and stakeholder focus
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel and contract management tools
