Moerk Water is looking for a Marketing and Business Development Executive to join our growing team and support the provision of sustainable, off-grid water treatment systems across a wide range of humanitarian, industrial, and municipal projects.

About the Role
The Marketing and Business Development Executive is responsible for driving strategic growth, market expansion, and brand visibility across Africa, Australia, and the Pacific for sustainable water treatment solutions. This role involves identifying and developing new business opportunities, conducting market and competitor analysis, and executing targeted marketing strategies, both digital and in-person, to support the company's commercial objectives and strengthen its presence in key sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Leading market research and analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and emerging opportunities in key sectors such as remote communities, mining, oil & gas, industrial operations, agriculture, and hospitality.
• Developing and implementing business development strategies to expand the company's footprint in new and existing markets.
• Increasing sales and revenue through the execution of integrated marketing and business development strategies tailored to regional and sector-specific needs.
• Managing client relationships and stakeholder engagement to support long-term partnerships and project success.
• Representing the company at industry exhibitions, trade fairs, and conferences across Australia and the Pacific to promote products and services.
• Overseeing the company's digital marketing presence, including content creation and management of the corporate LinkedIn profile to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
• Contributing to the improvement of the company's website and online image, including writing and publishing articles to increase visibility and communicate the company's mission, solutions, and impact.
• Collaborating with internal teams to develop and implement long-term marketing and business development strategies focused on sustainable growth, increased sales, and market positioning.
• Supporting the refinement of internal sales and marketing processes to improve operational efficiency and scalability.
This role requires a strong understanding of international markets, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering impactful, sustainable solutions in challenging environments.
