About the Role:

We are seeking two dedicated and experienced FEMALE Support Workers to provide high-quality, individualised care for a young client (8 years old) living with complex medical needs. This role is ideal for someone with a gentle, nurturing approach and a strong eye for detail, who can confidently manage personal care and adapt to a dynamic care environment.

The client is non-verbal, immuno-compromised, and requires full support for daily activities due to developmental delay and a congenital condition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide all aspects of personal care (including continence care)
  • Observe and report even subtle changes in health or behaviour
  • Follow and contribute to evolving care plans
  • Maintain clear and accurate documentation
  • Support safe engagement in daily routines and therapeutic activities
  • Collaborate respectfully with the family and healthcare professionals
  • Commit to regular training updates as the client's needs evolve

Regular Shifts:

  • Monday to Friday availability required
  • Thursday shift is essential (non-negotiable)
  • Occasional weekends may be requested

About You:

  • Previous experience working with children or clients with high support needs (especially non-verbal or immuno-compromised individuals)
  • Confidence in delivering personal care and maintaining hygiene standards
  • Patience, empathy, and a calm, nurturing nature
  • High attention to detail and strong observational skills
  • Comfortable working closely with family members as part of a care team
  • Willingness to undertake regular, specialised training

Essential Requirements:

  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle
  • COVID-19 and relevant vaccinations (due to immuno-compromised client)
