At Nextt, we're not just ticking boxes—we're changing lives. And right now, we're looking for an exceptional Disability Support Worker to join our team and support one of our legendary clients in Nambucca Heads.

Meet your future client: They are footy mad, loves a chat about cars and sports, and has a sharp wit that'll keep you on your toes.
They also have an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) and Spinal Cord Injury, is bed-bound, and needs hands-on, high-quality support to help them live with dignity and comfort.
They know what they like, how they like it done, and they'll show you the ropes—they just need someone they can trust to be there, listen, and deliver.

What you'll actually do:
Let's keep it real—this is involved personal care, and your client doesn't shy away from the details. But that's what makes this role so important. You'll be there for the moments that matter most.

  • Personal care
  • Bowel care (enemas every second day, training provided)
  • Catheter care
  • Mealtime support
  • Manual handling and hoisting
  • Following a clear, client-led routine
  • Building trust, sharing laughs, and being a reliable presence in someone's day
The shifts:
We're talking short, regular, local shifts—perfect for people who live nearby and want meaningful casual work:
  • 8:30am – 1:00pm, OR
  • 10:00am – 1:00pm,
  • 7 days a week (we can work with your availability)
What you'll bring:
  • A good attitude and a steady hand
  • The ability to follow direction without ego
  • A bit of banter, a lot of care
  • A willingness to learn, including bowel/catheter care and hoisting
Your paperwork:
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (current)
  • Working With Children Check (NSW)
  • Driver's License comprehensively insured car
  • First Aid & CPR
  • NDIS Orientation Module (Quality, Safety and You)
