Our client is an innovative healthcare software company scaling rapidly, deploying multiple times a day through cutting-edge SaaS solutions. This is a fully remote role available across all of Australia.

About the Role

As an Engineering Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving project delivery across multiple initiatives, ensuring features are shipped at pace and to the highest standard. This is a leadership-focused position where your technical expertise in Ruby on Rails will allow you to stay close to the detail, guide decision-making, and unblock challenges while your focus remains on project execution and team effectiveness rather than hands-on coding.

Reporting to the CTO, you will work closely with Product and Design teams to shape features, structure work, and align delivery with business goals. This is a fully remote role across all of Australia in a fast-paced, high-growth environment that requires strong leadership, clarity in execution, and a passion for delivering value at speed.

Skills and Experience**

• Strong technical background with hands-on experience in Ruby on Rails, enabling you to provide direction and unblock technical challenges

• Must have experience working within a SaaS product business

• Proven track record leading engineering teams in a fast-paced SaaS environment, with a focus on delivery at scale

• Demonstrated success in driving end-to-end project delivery, from scoping to release

• Excellent project management and organisational skills, with the ability to maintain high velocity and quality across multiple streams of work

• Strong communication skills to align engineering, product, and business stakeholders effectively

• Passionate about building high-performing teams and delivering customer value in a high-growth, high-pace environment

• Comfortable working in a fully remote capacity across all of Australia
