This exciting, newly created position to join Martha's Table team is truly unique. Our brand new breakfast offering needs a detailed focused dynamic, enthusiastic Café Supervisor who knows how to have fun at work.

About Martha's Table:

Martha Cove Marina is the home of Martha's Table multi-faced venue, a beautiful restaurant, bar, café, grocer and cellar overlooking the marina waterways.

Nested into a contemporary European food market the Grocer's Cafe is focused on Italian-style bakery products with a cabinet full of home-baked goods. The counter offers a range of artisan sandwiches, classic Australian and Italian breakfast products and sweets. At the same time, the breakfast menu draws influences from the Mediterranian and woodfire cooking.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Run a day to day operation of the café and take away counter
  • Supervise, teach, mentor, recruit Service Staff with the support of the Venue General Manager
  • Ordering, inventory management
  • Build strong customer relationships and drive Loyalty
  • Deliver a consistent F&B product
  • Come up with great sessional offerings with revenue generation in mind.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Your Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
  • Available Weekends and Public Holidays
  • Current driver's license
  • A friendly, customer-focused attitude
  • Previous experience within a busy cafe setting as a Second in charge or Manager
