About the Role

The Commercial Assistant supports the growth and operations of July's corporate sales and partnerships, known internally as July in Business. This role assists in managing B2B relationships, coordinating sales activities, and supporting new business initiatives.

Key Accountabilities

  • Assist in developing and coordinating corporate sales opportunities and partnerships across Australia and international markets.
  • Support wholesale operations and partner relationship management.
  • Help plan and coordinate events and activations related to July in Business.
  • Assist in identifying potential new business partnerships and non-retail revenue opportunities.
  • Work with Product and Planning teams to support the development of products for the July in Business range.
  • Assist with stock coordination and supply tracking for corporate sales orders.
  • Support the Finance team by preparing sales data and reports for forecasting.
  • Contribute to cross-functional planning and communication to support the broader commercial function.

Key Requirements

  • Interest in sales, partnerships, or commercial operations within a retail or consumer goods environment.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Comfortable working with data and basic reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and familiarity with CRM or sales systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Some experience in a sales support, coordination, or administrative role preferred.
  • Exposure to retail, e-commerce, or consumer brands advantageous but not essential.
