We're looking for an experienced and reliable Qualified Mechanic to join our team. If you take pride in quality workmanship, enjoy solving mechanical challenges, and want to be part of a supportive, down-to-earth workplace — we'd love to hear from you.

At Adaminaby Automotive, we're proud to be the trusted local workshop for the Snowy Region. We provide servicing, registration checks, and mechanical repairs for cars, utes, 4WDs — keeping locals and travellers safely on the road year-round.

In addition to our workshop services, we also operate NRMA roadside assistance, towing services, and accident recovery truck operations across the Snowy Mountains. Whether it's a breakdown on the highway or an icy mountain rescue, our team is known for reliable help when it's needed most.

Our customers rely on us for honest advice, quality workmanship, and friendly service that keeps them safely on the road, whatever the season.

We're now looking for a qualified mechanic to join our small, hardworking team.

About the Role

You'll be responsible for:

·       Servicing, diagnosing, and repairing a range of vehicles and machinery

·       Conducting routine maintenance and safety inspections

·       Identifying and resolving mechanical issues efficiently

·       Working both independently and as part of a small team

·       Maintaining accurate job records and ensuring high standards of work

·       Assisting with NRMA roadside and towing operations (training provided)

About You

To be successful, you'll have:

·       A Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology (or equivalent qualification)

·       Medium Rigid Truck License (Or willingness to get one)

·       Proven experience as a qualified mechanic

·       Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

·       A keen eye for detail and commitment to quality workmanship

·       Current driver's licence (heavy vehicle licence an advantage)

·       A positive attitude and good communication skills
