From sizes 6 to 30, to real stories, to the chaos of office BTS and the insights to our founders wild life, we jump on at lightning speed. Proud Poppy is here to disrupt the way women's fashion is done. We don't just do it. We do it better and we do it with purpose.

We've grown fast, (a little too fast tbh) but we're just getting started. Which is why we're on the hunt for a Social Media Marketing Specialist or Social Media Manager - the job title can be discussed but first we want to find the person. Not just anyone. We want a coach not a player - but someone that doesn't mind jumping in to catch the ball when needed. Someone who can zoom out, see the big picture, and lead our socials into their next era.

What you'll actually do - the FUN and the serious stuff:

  • Be the
    brains of our social machine
    -set the
    why
    and
    how
    across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn (and whatever platform blows up next).
  • Build content frameworks and campaign strategies that get us seen, loved, and shared.
  • Work closely with Tara (our founder + face of the brand) to turn her story and personality into content that connects. No fluff. No filters.
  • Guide and mentor juniors: set the direction, delegate the doing, hold them accountable.
  • Collaborate with Partnerships, PR, and E-com teams so every drop, collab, and campaign hits harder.
  • Keep us ahead of trends, algorithms, and culture shifts - no bandwagon hopping 3 weeks too late.
  • Track, measure, and report what matters (engagement, follower growth, new customers via socials).

  • Our socials are a magnet for new followers and new community members.
  • The team under you is clear on their roles, deadlines, and KPIs. Our socials are growing but your teams professional development is too.
  • You're not drowning in posting schedules - you're steering the ship.
  • You understand the WHY behind Proud Poppy and that our socials isn't just a sales channel. It's a place to connect.

A bit about you...

  • You are based on the Gold Coast or surrounds. You don't mind coming into the office - actually you prefer it its a vibe - but sometimes wouldn't mind working from home, or by the beach. Like an 80/20 rule with flexibility.
  • You live and breathe social - TikTok trends don't pass you by. It's not a chore. It's a passion (some would say obsession).
  • You've led social strategies before (3+ years in a similar role).
  • You're a leader: you love setting vision, empowering a team, and holding people to account.
  • You're data-curious: you can take numbers and translate them into action.
  • You're as comfortable pitching big ideas as you are rolling your sleeves up when needed.
