About the role

Flood Solar is seeking a talented Solar Sales Consultant & a Commercial Sales Manager with extensive experience in Commercial Sales in Solar to join our dynamic team in our Melbourne office. As a Solar Sales Consultant, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our renewable energy solutions across residential and possibly commercial - pending experience to customers. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to Flood Solar's mission of making clean energy accessible to all.

What you'll be doing

  • Engaging with prospective customers to understand their energy needs and provide tailored solar solutions
  • Conducting site assessments and preparing detailed proposals for solar panel installations
  • Educating customers on the benefits of solar energy, including cost savings and environmental impact
  • Negotiating and closing sales contracts with customers
  • Providing excellent customer service and support throughout the sales process
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and product innovations
  • Collaborating with the installation team to ensure a smooth and successful project delivery

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the renewable energy or home improvement industry
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to customers
  • Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • A passion for renewable energy and a desire to make a positive impact on the environment
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Relevant qualifications or certifications in renewable energy, sales, or a related field would be highly regarded
