What To Expect
Tesla's APAC Energy & Charging Service team is a fast-paced, entrepreneurial group dedicated to maintaining Tesla's Energy & Charging fleet for exceptional customer experience and top-tier availability.

As a Senior EHS Specialist, you'll work in a dynamic environment partnering with regional operational leadership, Tesla's product engineering team, construction and commissioning teams, and the global EHS team to deliver EHS governance, field staff advocacy and a culture of continuous EHS improvement.

This role requires a passion for safety, technology, strong collaboration skills, and the ability to thrive in ambiguity while championing operational excellence and innovative solutions.

What You'll Do- Ensure adherence to EHS management plans by site leads and area managers.
- Conduct reviews and audits of risk assessments, escalating non-conformance.
- Manage EHS inspections of service equipment, PPE and safety tools, ensuring compliance and the delivery of required corrective actions.
- Identify, arrange, and track mandatory and role-specific EHS training.
- Support incident reporting processes and delivery as per EHS timeframes and contractual obligations.
- Act as the advocate for field staff, ensuring safety concerns are heard, tracked, and addressed.
- Conduct risk assessments for new products, new tools and new operational sites.
- Collaborate with service engineers and operations managers to integrate EHS into technical practices.
- Drive continuous improvement EHS initiatives with cross-functional teams to optimize end-to-end service processes.
- Maintain a visible presence with field and travelling teams, reinforcing safety-first culture.
What You'll Bring- Minimum 5–7 years' experience in health & safety roles within service, utilities, or energy infrastructure environments.
- Strong understanding of high voltage operations and associated risks.
- Demonstrated experience with EHS governance, audits, and compliance monitoring.
- Skilled in field engagement and advocacy, with ability to build trust across diverse teams.
- Experience in risk assessment, incident investigation, and continuous improvement.
- Proven ability to deliver training, toolbox talks, and onboarding.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or Engineering (or equivalent).
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively (approx. 50% of role).
