Cyber Security Engineer – SentinelOne / XDR Focus

Location:
Canberra, ACT (Onsite / Hybrid)

hands-on SentinelOne Engineer

What You'll Do

  • Lead the
    deployment, configuration, and optimisation
    of the
    SentinelOne Singularity XDR
    platform across enterprise and government environments.
  • Integrate SentinelOne with
    SIEM/SOAR systems
    and other security platforms to enhance visibility and automation.
  • Perform
    threat hunting, incident analysis, and remediation
    through the console.
  • Tune policies and detection rules to reduce noise and improve accuracy.
  • Collaborate closely with Security Operations, Cloud, and Infrastructure teams to uplift cyber resilience.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience with
    SentinelOne
    (Singularity XDR / ActiveEDR) or equivalent EDR tools such as
    CrowdStrike, Defender for Endpoint, or Carbon Black
    .
  • Strong understanding of
    endpoint protection, detection and response, and threat lifecycle management
    .
  • Practical skills in
    incident response, forensics, and threat containment
    .
  • Scripting or automation experience (PowerShell, Python, API integrations) is highly regarded.
  • Baseline, NV1, or NV2 clearance strongly preferred due to environment sensitivity.
