About the role

Showtime Event Group is looking for enthusiastic Casual Function/Banquet Setup and Pack down Staff to join our team in at various venues across Melbourne. This is a casual role, perfect for those looking for flexible work in the Hospitality & Tourism industry, specifically Waiting Staff.

What you'll be doing

  • Setting up and packing down function spaces and equipment
  • Assisting with the delivered installation of tables, glassware, plates and cutlery
  • Ensuring all event spaces are set up to client specifications
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
  • Providing excellent customer service to clients throughout the event
  • Cleaning of venues.
  • Moving furniture, tables and chairs

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a similar event setup or waiting staff role
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team or independently
  • Enthusiastic and reliable approach to work
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to lift up to 20kg and stand for extended periods
