About the Role – HSEQ Coordinator
We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented HSEQ Coordinator to join our dynamic team.
In this key role, you will support and enhance our Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) operations across various civil projects. You'll play a central part in ensuring compliance, driving improvements in our Integrated Management System (IMS), and supporting a strong safety-first culture across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the implementation and continuous improvement of HSEQ systems across the business
- Assist in the ongoing development and maintenance of the Integrated Management System (IMS)
- Ensure project teams are supported in meeting quality, safety, and environmental standards
- Plan and facilitate internal and third-party audits and compliance assessments
- Support the rollout and maintenance of HSEQ-related software systems and tools
- Conduct compliance audits and site inspections; support incident investigations and reporting
- Maintain HSEQ documentation, records, registers, and training compliance data
- Deliver training and support to staff on HSEQ and IMS procedures and best practices
- Coordinate external training, medicals, and other compliance-related activities
- Oversee scheduled inspections and maintenance of safety/quality equipment
- Provide day-to-day support to the HSEQ Manager and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
What We're Looking For
To thrive in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience in an HSEQ or IMS coordination role, ideally in civil or demolition sectors
- 2–4 years' experience in the construction industry
- Strong understanding of HSEQ legislation, standards, and risk management frameworks
- Experience supporting or managing Integrated Management Systems (IMS)
- Exposure to implementing or supporting construction-related software tools
- Excellent organisational and reporting skills, with strong attention to detail
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Ability to work both independently and within cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general digital literacy
- First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
