We deliver high-quality, ATO-compliant depreciation schedules that help investors and developers maximise returns and meet compliance with confidence.
We are expanding our depreciation team and are looking for an experienced professional who can bring technical expertise, commercial understanding, and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional client outcomes.
THE ROLEYou'll be responsible for preparing detailed, accurate depreciation schedules across a range of residential and commercial property types. Working alongside our quantity surveying and advisory teams, you'll play a key role in maintaining NFG's industry-leading standards and client trust.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare tax depreciation schedules and capital works reports including residential, commercial, industrial and specialised properties.
- Assist in the oversight of quantity surveying staff
- Conduct site inspections and analyse construction costs.
- Apply and interpret ATO legislation relevant to Division 40 and Division 43.
- Liaise with accountants, investors, and developers to clarify requirements.
- Contribute to the refinement of internal systems and templates to drive efficiency.
You are an experienced depreciation professional who combines strong technical knowledge with commercial insight and clear communication.
You'll bring:
- Minimum 2 – 3+ years' experience preparing tax depreciation schedules in Australia.
- Must be a Registered Tax Practitioner with the Tax Practitioners Board
- Qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or related field
- Excellent understanding of ATO depreciation rulings and reporting standards.
- Proficiency in report preparation tools and cost databases.
- Attention to detail, initiative, and a genuine commitment to accuracy.
