Transgrid operates and manages the major high voltage electricity transmission network in NSW and the ACT, connecting generators, distributors and major end users.
Our core role is to connect electricity consumers to a safe, secure and reliable network through efficient maintenance, proficient operation of assets and prudent investment. Our network is the backbone of the NEM, enabling energy trading between Australia's three largest states along the east coast and supporting the competitive wholesale electricity market
The Opportunity
As Training Services Lead, you'll manage the day-to-day organisation of our Training Services function. From calendars and bookings to resources, logistics, and records, you'll be the one who ensures our training programs run smoothly and on time.
Working closely with the Training Services Manager, you'll liaise with business units, schedulers, and external RTOs to coordinate training delivery that is efficient, compliant, and aligned to operational needs.
Note: This position can be based at multiple Transgrid locations, including Sydney, Tamworth, Newcastle, Orange, Wagga Wagga, and Yass.
A Day in the Life at Transgrid
In this role you'll:
- Coordinate training calendars, centres, and resources across the business.
- Liaise with operational planners to align training with outage schedules.
- Manage logistics, including rooms, facilities, and materials for training events.
- Engage with RTOs to ensure compliance training needs are met.
- Use reporting and analytics to monitor training outcomes and compliance gaps.
About You
You are a detail-oriented coordinator who thrives on balancing multiple moving parts. You enjoy engaging with stakeholders, solving scheduling challenges, and ensuring programs are delivered to a high standard.
You will bring:
- Strong administration, logistics, and coordination background.
- Experience working with training calendars, LMS, and compliance systems
- Understanding of RTO and compliance training processes.
- Strong interpersonal and organisational skills. analytics to monitor training outcomes and compliance gaps.
