What You'll Do

You'll lead a passionate and high-performing team of 15 fundraising, marketing, and communication professionals.
Your mission?
To maximise revenue streams, expand our public reach, and ensure the financial strength that enables CARE Australia to continue its life-changing work across the globe.

You'll shape and deliver powerful strategies that grow brand visibility, build long-term customer engagement journeys for our supporters and partners, and secure sustainable funding – all while keeping CARE's mission at the heart of everything we do.

You'll work closely with the CEO, Board and external partners, and act as a public ambassador for CARE Australia.

What We're Looking For

You are a people person who excels at building relationships. You bring a strategic mindset with sharp commercial instincts, strong marketing and communication skills, with a customer experience focus and a proven track record in driving growth. Whether you come from the non-profit or the private sectors, you understand how to, create lasting customer engagement experiences, market and promote a brand, inspire teams and deliver financial results.

You bring:

  • Senior-level leadership in fundraising, marketing, or customer engagement and experience building a high-performance team culture
  • A visionary mindset paired with the operational know-how to turn plans into impact
  • Experience in delivering integrated campaigns that build both brand and revenue
  • Deep understanding of donor motivations and relationship management
  • Exceptional stakeholder management experience, with the ability to engage with donors, media, government and community
  • A passion for social justice, gender equality, and global development

Experience in a similar senior role will be highly regarded
