THE ROLE

The 
Fundraising & Sponsorship Senior Manage
r is responsible for securing and managing corporate sponsorships, philanthropic partnerships, and government funding, while also contributing to the development and implementation of strategies for income generation. This role is about building and nurturing relationships that grow RISING's revenue, reputation, and impact, while ensuring the festival delivers on its commitments.

Reporting to the Brand and Commercial Director, the role leads RISING's portfolio of sponsorships, philanthropic partnerships, and government contracts, managing high-level relationships and ensuring partners feel genuinely engaged, valued, and inspired by their connection to the festival. Supported by the Fundraising and Sponsorship Coordinator, this role manages external sponsorship and philanthropy consultants and works closely with the Brand and Marketing team to align communications and engagement.

The role also collaborates with the External Relations Director and the Artistic Director and CEO to maintain senior stakeholder relationships and provide strategic input into funding initiatives.
