ABOUT BLUELINE PLUMBING & GAS:

Blueline Plumbing & Gas is a small locally owned and family run domestic plumbing maintenance business servicing the Canberra region. We are a growing business with an exciting vision for the future, therefore finding and retaining great staff is one of our primary goals.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are currently looking to fill the position of Office Administrator at our business.

As Officer Administrator you will play an important role in our business, being the first point of contact for most of our clients. You will exceed our customer's expectations by providing them with exceptional customer service when fielding all incoming enquiries (telephone, email, website contact etc.), scheduling and managing all jobs, and assisting in the ordering of materials required for their plumbing maintenance needs.

You will be responsible for effectively managing our job management system, including ensuring the smooth coordination of the weekly job schedule and liaising with our plumbers when you are in the office to address daily operational requirements. You will also effectively communicate with our suppliers, commercial clients and other trades people regarding outgoing work as required.

You will be responsible for creating and managing the content distributed via our social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram and Google Reviews. You will also be responsible for drafting invoices for customers and all other adhoc administrative duties as required by our owner. Please note that this position continues to evolve over time, therefore its objectives are not limited to the duties stated above.

LIST OF DUTIES:

  • Communication with clients
  • Completing and submitting permits and certifications
  • Managing materials for fud vture jobs anehicle stock
  • Drafting invoices
  • Managing invoices and quote follow ups
  • Managing job scheduling
  • Managing social media content
  • Creating business flow charts
  • Managing subcontractors

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Great communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Bubbly and friendly phone personality.
  • Previous customer service experience (particularly in a trade business) would be highly regarded, though not required.
  • Experience using a job management system (particularly Aroflo or Service M8) would be highly regarded, though not required.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Possession of a smart mobile phone device for work use is required.
  • Eligibility and right to work in Australia.
