This is a unique opportunity to coordinate a high-impact project that strengthens data maturity and governance across the University.In this role, you'll act as the central coordinator - maintaining momentum, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring delivery stays on track. You'll work closely with an external vendor and collaborate with a project manager and broader support team, but the role is best suited to someone who thrives working independently and driving outcomes with confidence.Key Responsibilities:Assist in the development and deployment of data governance frameworks and guidelinesManage and maintain UC's data governance practices throughout the rollout phaseIdentify and support key business stakeholders and roles in relation to the University's Data Governance FrameworkCollaborate with stakeholders to establish business processes for assessing, monitoring, and improving key data assetsUndertake proactive and effective quality assurance and control across the implemented frameworkProvide oversight of data and data asset management processesSupport Data Owners, Stewards, and other stakeholders in developing and implementing data sharing and access frameworks across the UniversityBuild, maintain, and leverage strong stakeholder relationships to positively influence project outcomesPromote data literacy by ensuring staff across the University are trained, informed, and empowered with good data governance principles and practicesRequirements:Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively and inclusively with diverse internal and external stakeholders across all levelsProven capability to manage timelines, resources, and communications to ensure smooth execution and readiness for the rollout of the data governance frameworkAbility to navigate complex environments and align data governance initiatives with broader institutional goalsSkilled in identifying challenges early and implementing practical solutions to maintain project momentumWillingness to adapt, learn, and refine processes to support long-term success of data governance practicesOfferings/ Benefits/ Culture:The University offers excellent conditions and benefits such as:Flexible working arrangementsFamily-friendly policiesOn campus Gym, Medical services, Cafes, Post office, Supermarket and Childcare facilities.Professional Development offerings (study assistance, corporate programs and discounts)Innovative work environment with a diverse and inclusive cultureAccess to Employee Assistance Program and a corporate private Health Plan (Bupa)What we need from you: To be considered for this position, we require your Resume and a cover letter explaining what skills you would bring to the role; no additional documents are necessary.Submit your Resume through the "Apply Now" tab.
