Are you a skilled and motivated Sonographer looking to be part of something new? Join a modern, purpose-built imaging clinic where your contribution matters, your team supports you, and your equipment performs as well as you do.
About Us
Victorian Imaging Specialists is a newly established, locally owned imaging clinic offering a full suite of services including ultrasound, X-ray, CT, and MRI. Our founding directors are experienced radiographers and radiologists, combining over 50 years of clinical expertise. That means you'll be working directly with the owners — not for a corporate hierarchy — in a clinic built around clinical excellence, professional respect, and teamwork.
We're building a team known for both precision and professionalism — and we're looking for sonographers who want to be part of a strong, patient-focused clinical environment from the ground up.
We've invested in Philips ultrasound systems for their clarity, speed, and diagnostic confidence — because your scans deserve the right tools.
The Role
We're currently recruiting multiple sonographers as we grow our ultrasound team. You'll perform a range of diagnostic scans depending on your expertise (general, obstetric, MSK, and/or vascular), and work within an efficient, quality-focused workflow.
You won't be working alone.
You'll be supported by an on-site team of radiographers, radiologists, admin staff, and a dedicated nurse. Whether you're reviewing cases, managing scan flow, or collaborating with referrers — we've built the clinic for collaboration, not isolation.
What You'll Do:
- Perform high-quality ultrasound scans with professionalism and efficiency
- Maintain excellent patient care and clear clinical documentation
- Liaise with radiologists and contribute to ongoing diagnostic excellence
- Uphold clinical standards, safety procedures, and a team-first mindset
What We're Looking For
- ASAR accreditation (required)
- Proven experience in ultrasound (modality mix flexible)
- Confidence in diagnostic ultrasound
- A professional, proactive approach and pride in the quality of your work
Experience with Philips ultrasound is desirable but not essential
Full Australian working rights required
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Why Join Us?
- Work directly with owners who are radiologists and radiographers
- Be part of a growing, collaborative clinical team
- Philips ultrasound equipment in a purpose-built modern facility
- Support from radiographers, radiologists, admin and on-site nurse
- Efficient systems and workflows — we've built the clinic for how you actually work
- Competitive salary based on experience
- Monday to Friday — no weekend shifts currently
