CANBERRA INSTITUTE OF EDUCATION AND TECHNOLOGY (CIET) is a CRICOS Registered Training Organisation, CRICOS Code: 03835K and RTO Code: 45592, delivering nationally accredited training programs in Cookery and Hospitality, Building & Construction, Community Service, Information Technology, Graduate Diploma and Leadership & Management. We also provide First-Aid and White Card Courses. We are based in Canberra and Melbourne. We are seeking a motivated and outgoing Marketing Assistant to help us promote our courses and strengthen relationships with student consultant agencies.

About the Role

This is a hands-on marketing role, ideal for someone with strong communication skills and a creative talent. You will be responsible for visiting education and student consultant agencies, promoting our programs, and creating engaging marketing content such as short promotional videos.

Key Responsibilities

  • Visit and build relationships with student consultant agencies
  • Promote our courses and provide information about our programs
  • Create engaging marketing videos for social media and promotional use
  • Assist with marketing campaigns and content creation
  • Represent the brand professionally at events and meetings

Requirements

  • Proven experience in marketing within the education industry.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Confident, friendly, and professional manner
  • Basic video creation and editing skills (preferred)
  • Knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently and manage your schedule
