As the Marketing Assistant at MUJI Store Support Service, you will play a crucial role in supporting the marketing department and contributing to the overall success of our marketing initiatives. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the monthly implementation of POP materials
  • Creating accurate and timely basic POP materials such as price promotions
  • Updating in-store digital screen content to reflect planned activities
  • Assisting the Digital Marketing Specialist with social media, eDM content creation and social media community management
  • Assisting the Marketing & PR Manager on any ad hoc marketing projects such as retail promotions and events
  • Collaborating with the finance team to ensure marketing expenses are accurately tracked and lodged in a timely manner

  • Tertiary qualification in Business or Marketing, and retail experience is preferred
  • Demonstrable experience with social media coordination, including video and still content creation, posting and community management
  • Basic knowledge on Adobe creative suites (Illustrator/InDesign/Photoshop) and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Canva is advantageous
  • Proficiency with MAC operating systems
  • Ability to effectively apply knowledge of the latest market trends to drive commercial success
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to effectively collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, with an ability to manage multiple projects and consistently meet deadlines
  • Exceptional attention to detail skills, with an ability to effectively solve problems
