We are seeking a passionate and skilled entry level Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a fundamental knowledge in both frontend and backend development, with hands-on experience building scalable applications using Java-based technologies.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in an Agile environment and enjoys working across the entire development lifecycle - from designing APIs to deploying containerised microservices.

The ideal candidate would have a student mentality and be eager to grow the systems and technologies of a busy Investment Buyers Agency with 3 x Companies and an exciting spread of projects.

Perfect for: Recent graduates in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related fields.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications across the full stack.
  • Create and consume REST APIs and integrate frontend and backend systems seamlessly.
  • Develop and maintain microservices using Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and JPA.
  • Write clean, maintainable code and conduct unit testing using JUnit and Mockito.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Utilize version control (Git/GitHub) for source code management.
  • Containerize applications using Docker for deployment and testing.
  • Perform database design and management using MySQL and PostgreSQL.
  • Document technical specifications using Swagger/OpenAPI.

Desirable Qualifications:
  • Bachelors of Information Technology
