One of our clients is a leading global financial institution that has large equities trading teams across APAC. The business is looking to drive growth in its Sydney-based front office equities support team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide front-line technical support to traders - troubleshooting and resolving issues with equities trading systems (IRESS/Fidessa) and connectivity to exchanges
  • Monitor and maintain trading systems to ensure optimal performance
  • Collaborate with traders and development teams to identify and implement improvements to systems and processes

About you:

  • 1+ years of experience in front office Australian Equities Support or 3+ yrs experience in supporting another desk/asset class
  • Strong experience resolving issues with trading systems and protocols such as IRESS, FIX
  • Scripting skills in Perl, Powershell, Python or similar preferred
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Initial 12-month contract with conversion to a permanent position available

Day rate up to $730/day incl super ($167k p.a.)
