The Opportunity

We are seeking a talented
Global Equities Analyst
to join a high-performing investment team with a
long/short mandate
across global markets. This is a rare opportunity to apply deep analytical skills and independent thinking to generate differentiated investment ideas within a concentrated, active strategy.

The role is hands-on, idea-driven, and suited to someone who thrives in a collaborative yet entrepreneurial investment culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct fundamental research on global listed companies across sectors and geographies
  • Build and present detailed investment theses to the portfolio managers, with a focus on both long and short opportunities
  • Analyse company financials, competitive positioning, and industry dynamics to identify mispricings
  • Monitor existing portfolio positions, updating recommendations as market and company conditions evolve
  • Contribute to broader investment discussions, portfolio construction debates, and risk management considerations

Ideal Candidate

  • 2–5 years' experience in equity research, investment banking, private equity or a similar corporate finance type role
  • Demonstrated ability to perform deep fundamental analysis — including financial modelling, valuation, and qualitative industry research
  • Intellectual curiosity, independent thought, and the conviction to put forward bold ideas
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex views clearly and persuasively
