This dynamic, expansive and growing business is currently seeking a proactive, professional and dedicated Quality Assurance and WHS Officer.

To be successful in this role you will be required to:

  • Conduct routine and non-routine product quality tests to ensure ongoing compliance to SQF, HACCP and WHS;
  • Interpret and implement quality assurance standards and procedures;
  • Conducting label reviews for product and raw materials, packaging and promotional materials
  • Support with internal and external food safety audits for the site
  • Assist with investigations of customer complaints and non-conformance issues
  • Implement and monitor corrective and preventative action
  • Coordinate training activities to drive quality, food safety, work health and safety, environmental and quality assurance standards
  • Preparation of routine and non-routine reports to communicate outcomes of quality system
  • Collect and sample statistical quality data and identify areas for improvement in the quality system

The ideal candidate will have the following skills, knowledge and experience:

  • Knowledge of HACCP and SQF standards essential
  • Technical understanding of Quality and Food Safety
  • Strong verbal and written skills
  • Proficient document control skills
  • Good computer literacy – Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Experience working within the fast moving consumer goods industry preferred
  • Candidate can be in progress studying a Food/Science/Microbiology/Chemistry/Nutrition or Laboratory qualifications or equivalent
