
Quality Assurance Officer

This dynamic, expansive and growing business is currently seeking a proactive, professional and dedicated Quality Assurance and WHS Officer.
To be successful in this role you will be required to:
- Conduct routine and non-routine product quality tests to ensure ongoing compliance to SQF, HACCP and WHS;
- Interpret and implement quality assurance standards and procedures;
- Conducting label reviews for product and raw materials, packaging and promotional materials
- Support with internal and external food safety audits for the site
- Assist with investigations of customer complaints and non-conformance issues
- Implement and monitor corrective and preventative action
- Coordinate training activities to drive quality, food safety, work health and safety, environmental and quality assurance standards
- Preparation of routine and non-routine reports to communicate outcomes of quality system
- Collect and sample statistical quality data and identify areas for improvement in the quality system
The ideal candidate will have the following skills, knowledge and experience:
- Knowledge of HACCP and SQF standards essential
- Technical understanding of Quality and Food Safety
- Strong verbal and written skills
- Proficient document control skills
- Good computer literacy – Excel, Word, Outlook
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience working within the fast moving consumer goods industry preferred
- Candidate can be in progress studying a Food/Science/Microbiology/Chemistry/Nutrition or Laboratory qualifications or equivalent
