About the role

Vivad manufactures Large format digital print products.

We are looking for an Industrial Sewing Machinist/Motor Trimmer to manufacture banners, marquees, exhibition graphics as well as a range of bespoke projects.

You will bring your skills as an industrial sewing machine operator and you will be trained on a variety of banner welding techniques and equipment.

This full-time position is based in our Campbellfield, Victoria facility. 

What you'll be doing

  • Operating industrial sewing machines to stitch and assemble a variety of textile products
  • Ensuring high-quality workmanship and attention to detail in all tasks
  • Collaborating with team members to maintain production schedules and meet deadlines
  • Troubleshooting machine issues and performing basic maintenance and adjustments
  • Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations within the manufacturing environment

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience as an industrial sewing machinist
  • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, patterns, and specifications
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination, dexterity, and attention to detail
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and organised work environment
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions
