Shades of Elegance (SOE) is a leading wholesale manufacturer of premium window treatments, supplying roller blinds and curtains to retailers, designers, and commercial projects across Australia.

We are looking for an experienced Seamstress / Machinist to join our production team, specialising in curtain manufacturing.

About the Role:

  • Operate industrial/commercial sewing machines for curtain production.
  • Measure, cut, and sew fabrics with precision.
  • Ensure high-quality finishes on all products.
  • Work collaboratively with the production team to meet deadlines.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

About You:

  • Previous experience as a seamstress, machinist, or in curtain/soft furnishing production.
  • Minimum 1 years experience as a seamstress, machinist, or in curtain/soft furnishing production.
  • Confident using commercial sewing machines.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable, punctual, and eager to contribute to a growing business.
  • Physical fitness to handle heavy materials and stand for extended periods
  • Must have unrestricted rights to work in Australia
