My client is cutting-edge companies who due to continuous growth phases are looking for an experienced CNC Setters and also CNC Machinists to join their business in the South Eastern and also Eastern suburbs.

This is an afternoon shift which is permanent / fulltime opportunity.

CNC Setter & CNC Machinists

Operation of a range of quality CNC machines and manual machines to manufacture and reclaim a wide variety of components mining equipment and various other industries. The variety of work and the chance to apply your skills to the type of work that machinists like doing, will keep you engaged and learning every day.

Role requirements

  • Perform Precision Machining work as per job requirements
  • Operate a variety of CNC machines and manual type machines
  • Efficiently complete "One off" type work
  • Interpret drawings and specific machining tolerances and finishes
  • Complete work in a safe and effective manner
  • Undertake QA checks as required
  • Demonstrate commitment to safety, quality, and environmental practices
  • Australian recognised Trade Certificate - Machinist
  • Good communication skills
  • Have basic tools of trade

What you'll do:

  • CNC Setting and CNC Machining
  • Programming CNC Machines would be high advantageous
  • Perform thorough inspections of finished parts to ensure they meet strict quality standards and make necessary adjustments as required.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any programming or machining issues to minimise production downtime.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and best practices to maintain a safe working environment.
