Byron Bay Screen Printers is a highly respected and well established Screen Printing and Clothing Wholesale business located in beautiful Byron Bay. We currently have a rare and fantastic opportunity for an experienced Screen Printer to join our small and friendly team.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Operating a TAS 8 colour automatic printing machine

  • Operating a manual printing carousel (M&R)

  • Preparation of screens for printing and reclaiming and exposing of screens

  • Mixing inks per specifications

  • Cleaning screens

Qualifications and Skills

  • Recent commercial experience in printing on textiles within a screen printing business is essential

  • Excellent communication and time management skills

  • Ability to work to deadlines in a fast paced environment

  • Ability to work in a small team environment

  • Excellent attention to detail in printing

  • Demonstrate creative input

  • Versatility across all mediums

  • Adobe CS experience preferred

  • Experience on DTG/DTF Machines and Heat Pressing

  • Job Type: Permanent Part-Time - Min hours per week

  • RE-NUMERATION: Fully qualified screen printer with over 4 years experience in the industry including the required experience on an Automatic Carousel: $44 p/hr.

  • For fully qualified applicants we will assist with subsidising successful applicants rent: $100 p/wk (fixed term)

  • RE-NUMERATION: 2 years experience or less in the commercial screen printing industry: $36-37 p/hr. with pay upgrade after 12 months employment.

**PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU HAVE NOT HAD RECENT EXPERIENCE WORKING IN THE COMMERCIAL SCREEN PRINTING INDUSTRY. ONLY PERSONS WITH A MINIMUM OF 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN A COMMERCIAL SCREEN PRINTING ENVIRONMENT WILL BE CONSIDERED.
